Tweed to Byron Kids in Business is an exciting new initiative designed to inspire, educate and empower local kids through real-world business experiences.

Born from the heart of the Tweed to Byron Women in Business community, this program is all about giving children the opportunity to explore creativity, confidence, problem-solving and entrepreneurship in a fun, supportive and age-appropriate environment.

We believe that business skills aren’t just for adults — they’re life skills. And when kids are encouraged early, incredible things happen.

What is Kids in Business?

Kids in Business is a series of hands-on workshops, classes and events created especially for children who love to create, build, sell, lead and dream big.

Whether your child has already started a mini business or is simply curious about how things work, these events are designed to:

• Build confidence and communication skills

• Encourage creativity and innovation

• Introduce money basics and problem-solving

• Foster teamwork and leadership

• Show kids that their ideas matter

Most importantly, everything we do is fun, inclusive and supportive, with a strong focus on learning through doing.

• Branding, logos and creative thinking

These sessions are designed to spark curiosity and build confidence, regardless of experience level.

Kids in Business Market

One of our most exciting events is the Kids in Business Market — a real market experience created just for kids.

Children will have the opportunity to:

• Create their own product or service

• Set up a stall

• Learn about pricing, selling and customer service

• Experience what it’s like to run a small business in real life

The market is about more than selling — it’s about confidence, pride and learning through experience.
